Community
Work 4 A Living
The aim of a W4AL program is to empower the unemployed and equip them with entrepreneurial skills, so that they may support themselves and their families. There are over 30 W4AL centres in South Africa, but few in the Western Cape. As several MetCon staff members live in Khayelitsha, we decided this would be the perfect place to establish a W4AL centre. After contributing to the centre set-up and supporting its running costs, we are pleased to announce that several students have already found employment!
LEARN MORESMILE
We support SMILE (Showing More Interest, Love and Empathy), a non-profit based in Mooiplaatz Pretoria, as it transforms communities through sustainable development practices.
LEARN MOREMandela Day
Every 18th of July MetCon honours the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela by giving back to the community through various projects and initiatives. We keep it interesting!
LEARN MORELadles of Love
We support this Capetonian non-profit organisation as they provide wholesome, healthy meals to those in need
LEARN MORE16 Days of Activism
In collaboration with the SADPMR (South African Diamond & Precious Metals Regulator) the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is supported through various marketing initiatives
